Integrated Youth Services, Inc. (IYS) provides for the behavioral health needs of youth and their families with its system of services that include mental health and alcohol and drug counseling programs.

Youth live within families. Everyone is affected when a child is hurting. A family systems approach is provided at IYS. This means that parents, guardians. and caregivers, siblings and extended family may be asked to participate in the services along with the child depending upon the child's needs.

Getting to Know Integrated Youth Services

IYS has been providing behavioral health care services to emotionally disturbed children and adolescents and their families for over 8 years. We are regionally recognized for our psychiatric treatment services that include specialized programs for high-risk behavioral disorders and dependency issues.

IYS maintains a philosophy of treatment that has evolved over the years we have worked with youth and their families. Our philosophy builds upon and incorporates our mission statement. It begins with treating all patients and their families, and others with dignity and respect. IYS does not discriminate regarding treatment of residents based upon age, race, religion, or social status. We serve a variety of children and adolescents with significant impairment to their cognitive, behavioral, emotional, and social functioning. Therefore, our philosophy encompasses a variety of beliefs regarding successful treatment that includes the following:

  • A focus on the therapeutic relationship that puts the needs of the patient first
  • Highly individualized treatment in a safe, secure, setting
  • A strong commitment to family involvement
  • A multi-disciplinary treatment approach that focuses on teaching youth responsibility and accountability for their behaviors, that addresses their clinical needs, and also includes age-appropriate normative tasks
  • A developmental-contextual approach to providing education and treatment
  • A humanistic, holistic, and integrated approach to treatment encompassing a variety of models and methods that are eclectic and based on best-practices

Our Mission

Integrated Youth Services seeks to improve the quality of life for Greene County youth and families by collaborating with other youth-servicing agencies to provide and advocate for a continuum of care for culturally-sensitive youth behavioral health services.
