IYS offers an adolescent outpatient drug and alcohol program intended for adolescents who have experimented with, are abusing, or are dependent on mood altering chemicals. This program provides diagnostic services, group, individual, and family sessions to address life area difficulties experienced due to chemical use.
Assessment
A chemical dependency professional will meet with the youth and his/her family to determine the extent of chemical use. An individualized treatment program will be developed to address the youth's needs. All information regarding the youth's treatment program will remain confidential.
