Integrated Youth Services seeks to improve the quality of life for Greene County Youth and families by collaborating with other youth-serving agencies to provide and advocate for a continuum of care for culturally-sensitive services for families.
Diagnostic Assessment
Before any treatment services are provided, you and your child will meet with a counselor who will assess the needs of your child and your family and help you in determining a treatment plan that best serves you.
Counseling
IYS provides counseling services to youth and their families. This is done with the families individually or with the youth in groups when appropriate.
Community Psychiatric Support Services
This service is provided to all families participating in counseling or psychiatric services. The amount and frequency of the services varies to meet the individual needs of the family served. It provides co-ordination and linkage with outside providers and other child-serving programs, such as schools.
Psychiatric Services
For youth who experience severe mental health symptoms, a Board Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist is available to consult with the counselor and, if necessary, provide an evaluation to determine if medication is needed. The same psychiatrist would follow the care of the youth to assure the medication is effective.
Crisis Intervention
IYS provides crisis services 24/7. From 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday, you may access crisis services by calling (937) 427-3837 and ask for the Crisis Counselor. Afterhours, weekends, and holidays call: (937) 376-8701 press option 6 or (937) 879-3400 Press Option 6
